Thursday, April 15th, 2010Killzone 2 and LittleBigPlanet are being developed for 3D – so Sony are planning a 3d update in time for their own 3d TV coming out in June. This means that you’ll be able to enjoy 3d on your ps3 if you’ve got one of the new 3D tvs.
Sony’s committed to 3D and is planning on filming 25 football matches at this years World Cup in 3D! These will be broadcast and released as well as an official 3D FIFA World Cup compilation film on 3D Blu-ray disc. PS3s will be compatible with 3D Blu-ray movies after a second update after June.
The Sony BRAVIA HX803 – Son’y own 3d Tv will be released in June – and will come with two pairs of 3D glasses and a PSN voucher for a free 3D gaming experience (Wipeout HD, a single level from Motorstorm Pacific Rift, three episodes and a tutorial from PAIN and the full game of Super Stardust HD.)
