CES shows off 3D TVs

Tuesday, January 12th, 2010

The CES is being used as a showcase for 3DTV and a prototype from Samsung is exciting as it does away with the need for 3D glasses. However at this stage it seems you have to sit looking directly at the TV at the right distance away to get the right affect.

Also at the CES Panasonic have included the required 3D glasses with its 3D TV.The glasses are very slick in design and definitely not made from cardboard!

Whilst 3DTV is in the very early stages of commercialisation it’s going to get bigger and bigger as we progress towards the World Cup as that’s being filmed in 3D.
